OVERVIEW
=========

Welcome to our Blog where we will post about our journey.

We dedicate this Blog to our dear friend, Allen Segal, who passed away in July of 2010. During the time that we knew Allen, he taught us so much by the way he conducted himself and lived his life. We are very blessed to have known Allen and he will be in our thoughts and our hearts throughout this voyage.

As you scroll down the Blog on the right hand side you will see the dedication we have written in memory of Allen.

As you continue to scroll down you will come to some maps and then see the detailed itinerary for this voyage. Below the itinerary you will come to a motivational quote that is automatically updated each and every day and you will come to links for other sites including a couple of our most recent Blogs.

We look forward with great anticipation to our upcoming voyage on the Crystal Serenity.

We will board the Crystal Serenity on January 4 and sail on one voyage which precedes the start of the 2011 World Cruise and then we will sail on the first four of seven legs of the World Cruise.

Our adventure starts in Miami. Following visits to two ports of call, we will cruise Westward and transit the Panama Canal, stopping at two additional ports of call before arriving to Los Angeles, California marking the completion of the first voyage.

During the first leg of the World Cruise we will sail from Los Angeles, California to Papeete, Tahiti with some stops in the Pacific including Oahu, Hawaii. As part of the second leg we continue from Papeete and cruise to Auckland, New Zealand with stops at additional Pacific Ocean Islands. On the third leg, we continue our journey sailing from Auckland, to Sydney, Australia with stops at five additional New Zealand Ports of Call and stops at three different ports in Australia. Our fourth and final World Cruise leg takes us from Sydney to Singapore with stops at six additional ports of call including stops at three Australian ports of call.

As part of this voyage, we cruise the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, along with the Caribbean, Tasman and Java Seas.

We also transit the Panama Canal, cross the International Dateline, cruise the Dusky and Milford Sound and cruise the Great Barrier Reef and the Equator.

All in all we will spend sixty-nine days on the Crystal Serenity as we revisit several places that we have had the pleasure of visiting before while we also have the opportunity to see some new places for the very first time.

We hope that you will feel part of our journey through our Blog and we look forward to sharing much of our experiences with each of you

Please keep in mind that you can also post comments on the Blog and we look forward to reading them. We would love to hear from you. To post a comment at the end of any given post, you will see a comments area which you click on. It will bring you to a screen where you can write a comment and then you will be asked to do a word verification. If you do not have a Google e-mail account just click on anonymous before posting your comments.

Please know that we do not have time to reread all that we have written so there will undoubtedly be some grammatical mistakes and also some incorrect spelling.

We will post a couple of more times before this journey begins and also while we are in Miami prior to boarding the ship.

As we have done in the past we will share a thought for the day with each and every post.

TODAY'S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY......
